Teaching Interests
As an educator in the profession of landscape architecture, I am committed to helping students establish and develop their individual strengths so that they may realize their full career potential. In order to achieve that goal, I am committed to maintain the studio as an educational setting ideally suited for providing individualized attention while engaging students in their own education. I provide students with the opportunity to explore in the classroom, the studio, and the outdoors the role of nature, culture, and people in shaping the built and the natural environments through the activity of design. The overall emphasis of my teaching is in comprehensive problem solving of planning, design, and environmental issues.
